Rescue Robot
September 2017 - April 2018
A custom 3D printed tank robot, controlled using a web server, that can aid in search and rescue after natural disasters. Sensors include CO, LPG, and methane gas sensors as well as a temperature sensor and GPS to display information about its environment to a website using a WiFi connection. Has an IR camera and a fast image sensor connected to a Raspberry Pi to display its surroundings using an RTMP live stream. Uses Xbee communication as a backup when the WiFi goes out of range.
